Chapter One, Part Two

Delilah was a red haired, green eyed beauty queen. Men, women alike, found her intimidating. Since Delilah was intimidating and so shy she's been single for a few years now. But, just one glanceinto her sparking emerald eyes was enough to put a spell on anyone. She was truly possessed by beauty. She felt she was destined to spend her life alone because people were too scared to ask her out and that the shyness issue she had was something she just could put behind her.

This morning as Delilah was sitting down, sipping on her morning dose of caffeine she picked up the paper. "I really need to get a job. At least I'll have something to do everyday...it beats sitting her dying from boredom", she said to herself aloud. While looking through the want ads she came across an ad that took her breath. The ad read: "Seeking male or female for a week getaway. The only requirement is you have no inhibitions. See Sam or Elise for details.". Delilah got excited and her mind begin thinking all kinds of thoughts. She begin speaking aloud again. "I've got no one expecting me to be here when they get home, I have no responsibilities, and most of all I have nothing to lose". "Damn, it's been so long since I've had sex with another individual." "I've got nothing to lose..."! Her mind rambling a thousand thoughts a second she begin to feel overwhelmed. Since Delilah was so shy she, tapping her freshly painted fingernails on the cedar desk, begin to think of a way to approach the couple. She thought about a phone call...but there was no number listed on the ad. She thought about meeting them under the moonlight at the lake after midnight...still no good. She was much to shy to just walk up to them. She decided that she'd write them but she had no address. "Damn, what will I do?", she said. With that thought She remembered she had to pick up her garments from the dry cleaners in town. She got in the car and off she went.

She arrived at the cleaners and parked her black 2 door sedan in the parking place nearest to the entrance. She walked in and stood in line. While standing in line she begin eavesdropping on the ladies in front of her. They were discussing Sam and Elise and they spoke of how disgusting and shameful the couple was. Delilah tapped the lady on the shoulder and shyly asked, "That couple you're talking about. Where do they live?" The lady told her that she didn't know the address but she explained where it was. She gave Delilah the description of a gray Victorian style mansion that was within a couple of blocks from the center of town.

She reached the front of the line, paid for her belongings and ran outside throwing the items in the backseat; almost slamming the door on her clothes. She put the car in drive and headed to the center of town to find Sam and Elise's place. She drove around and around forwhat seemed to bean eternity until she got to Stone Circle. She looked to her right and there it was, in all it's majesty. 2729 Stone Circle. She wanted so bad to drive up and knock on the door but they had a fancy iron gate with a security clearance booth. She wasn't going to get the balls to do that anytime soon so she drove home with her head hung low feeling alone and very stupid for not being brave.

When she arrived home she thought the best way to go about this was to write them a letter. She knew there was a risk of the letter reaching them too late but she figure if it did that it wasn't meant to be and that she'd be better off. Delilah, sitting at her cedar desk lit a sandalwood incense stick, to calm her nerves, and reached into the top drawer to get her finest perfumed stationary. She begin to write with nervous hands and then the words begin to come to her so easily. They were coming to her so easily in fact it was if a little voice was whispering what to write into her ear. The letter read...
